Compression (Isostatic) of Powders
To compress powders, PIERCAN manufactures dipped natural rubber parts, whose mechanical properties (resistance to high pressure) are perfectly controlled.
Isostatic compression of powders is used for: Metallic or ceramic powders mixture for sintering tungsten carbide compression (pressure 2000 bars) and the creation of high-density counterweights (F1, aircraft).

Animal Health/Veterinary
For decades, PIERCAN has been producing numerous elastomeric elements for animal reproduction and testing. These products are part of PIERCAN’S core business of dipped elastomers. These items are meant either for semen collection (condoms for bulls, ponies, etc.) or to stimulate animal breeding via artificial reproductive stimulants, through systems such as specific textures or integrated liquid containers.

Bellows (Telemanipulators)
PIERCAN is a key player in the field of telemanipulator bellows. The bellows are used to protect a mechanical arm in a glovebox setting. The bellows have the same application as the glovebox gloves: pharmaceutical, laboratories, nuclear, semi-conductors, research, hospital, etc. The bellows can be manufactured by dipping, injection, or molding.
